Introduction: Meet the Doctor | xiii could smile and laugh freely – that she enjoyed meeting new people with confidence – and best of all, she felt her self-esteem rise considerably. As you can imagine, having front teeth that felt “natural,” and being able to smile without worrying, changed this beautiful young woman’s life; and converted her experience at University into some- thing much more positive. I love providing patients with dental implant solutions (which are the closest thing to getting their “natural” teeth back) – and my masters and specialty in Anesthesia means that I can also safely sedate (put to sleep) patients with anxiety. In fact, I was president of the Ontario society of Dental Anesthesia as well. As they say, I wear many hats; including that of a husband, a father of two grown daughters, and a competitive soccer player. My ever-increasing passion for dentistry, and specifically dental implants, stems from helping patient after patient discover that dental implants can change their lives – and seeing the joy on their faces when they get their teeth back.
