Do They Offer Educational Materials for their Patients?
Your dental implant care provider should at the very least be offering you a pamphlet or brochure that explains the procedures simply so that you can fully understand the treatments they are recommending .
It’s important to educate yourself on the procedures, not only so that you understand what exactly the dentist is recommending, but because with knowledge of the procedures you can’t be taken advantage of . The last thing you want is to be coerced into getting more work done than necessary .
You will want to find a dentist with the heart of a teacher, who is willing to take the time and effort to educate you on the options available to you . After all, knowledge is power!
